This Privacy Policy explains what Glint collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain because privacy should be easy to understand.
1. Who we are
Glint ("Glint", "we", "us") operates a mobile application and waitlist that lets people add a sponsored widget to their homescreen and share in advertising revenue. This policy covers our website, waitlist, and app.
2. Information we collect
- Information you give us. Your name and mobile number when you join the waitlist, and your payout details (such as a bank or UPI handle) if and when you choose to withdraw earnings.
- Device and usage information. Basic device identifiers and widget activity (for example, when your widget refreshes) so we can count impressions and calculate earnings.
- Communications. Messages you send us, such as support or brand inquiries.
3. How we use your information
- To run the waitlist and notify you when Glint launches.
- To operate the widget, measure impressions, and calculate what you earn.
- To process withdrawals and prevent fraud or abuse.
- To improve the product and respond to your messages.
4. Advertising and your data
Brands sponsor the visuals shown in your widget. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers. Brands receive aggregate, de-identified performance data (such as total impressions), never your name or number.
5. How we share information
- Service providers who help us run the app, such as hosting and payment processors, under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal reasons, if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public.
- Business transfers, if Glint is involved in a merger or acquisition, with notice to you.
6. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
7. Your choices and rights
- Access or correct the information we hold about you.
- Delete your account and associated data.
- Opt out of non-essential messages.
- Remove the widget at any time, which stops further data collection from it.

8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
9. Children
Glint is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has used Glint, contact us and we will remove the data.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
